連兩年拿下MVP的勇士隊當家球星柯瑞，昨天坐在板凳等待西區冠軍賽第3戰結束，但他的表情卻和過往大勝不同，因為衛冕軍成慘敗一方。

回到主場的雷霆隊，揮別第2戰以27分吞敗陰霾，「雙槍」杜蘭特和衛斯特布魯克昨天一同上膛，兩人合轟63分，率隊以133：105輕取勇士，再度於西區冠軍賽取得領先。

前一戰出現8失誤的杜蘭特，昨天僅僅發生1次失誤，他笑說：「我的隊友讓我卸除壓力，讓我不用持球那麼久，我也試著傳些正確和簡單的球。」大勝後的2014至15年球季MVP心情也跟著輕鬆許多，直呼自己連唯一的失誤都不該出現，「但我會拿來和8次相比。」

杜蘭特繳出15投10中的高命中率，罰球線上12罰更沒錯失任何一球，加上衛斯特布魯克「準大三元」成績30分、12助攻外帶8籃板，雷霆半場已取得25分領先，第3節差距更一度達41分，使第4節早早進入垃圾時間；這場勝利拿下後，美國網站ESPN的籃球實力指數更預測，雷霆有5成7機率拿下總冠軍賽門票。

柯瑞和湯普森各攻下24分和18分，是勇士得分唯二達兩數位的球員，衛冕軍也成聯盟史上第4支例行賽拿下至少65勝，季後賽卻以超過25分落敗的隊伍；過往3隊分別是1992年的公牛隊、2000年的湖人隊和2013年的熱火隊，3隊陣中都有當年MVP坐鎮，最終也都高捧金盃。

勇士也有過兩度從1：2落後反敗為勝的紀錄，兩次都出現在上個賽季，分別是西區準決賽出戰灰熊隊，以及最後總冠軍賽逆轉騎士隊。

「我很有信心能克服劣勢，第4戰打出場漂亮的球。」勇士教頭柯爾自信說。
